DESCRIPTION:Due to a scheduling conflict\, we will have to reschedule our M
 ontecito Montessori lunch and school visit.  Stay tuned.  We have an alt
 ernate plan.in lieu of the school visit:   In preparation for our Octobe
 r DIAD which will involve donating and reading a book-- I VOTED\; Making
  a Choice Makes a Difference--to all 16 third grade classrooms in the Osbo
 rn School District\, Thursday's meeting will be devoted to discussing plan
 s for the event\, a demonstration of how to read an informational book to 
 children\, and reviewing a sample draft lesson plan for the event so that 
 there is consistency from classroom to classroom.  I hope you will be abl
 e to attend and will find the meeting worthwhile. You new grandparents out
  there may find the information useful when reading to your new grandbabie
 s!  Visits to classes will take place the week of October 12 so please hi
 ghlight that week on your calendar.  Final details are not yet available.
    I hope to see you on Thursday!  Honorary members are encouraged to a
 ttend. We will meet on Thursday\, August 27\, at Kong and Associates at 53
 00 N. Central Avenue\, the west side of Central between Missouri and Camel
 back.  Take the hall to the left as you enter the building.  The confere
 nce room is on the right hand side of the hall.  David will take care of 
 catering so please to sign up by Tuesday 10AM so we order sufficient food.
