You’re Invited: Life Skills Day at Steele Indian School Park As part of Phoenix West Rotary Club’s strategy to do more community-facing service projects, we are partnering with Phoenix Rotary 100 and several youth-focused nonprofits to host a free Life Skills Training Day for students ages 11–22. The event will be held on Saturday morning November 15 at Steele Indian School Park, with an expected attendance of 200–500 youth. Students will participate in four 50-minute classes covering practical skills such as CPR, financial literacy, career readiness, communication, and more. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided, with raffle prizes for participants who complete all sessions. Volunteer opportunities range from working set up, registration table, security, event guides, facilitator support, teaching classes, floaters and tear down. Shifts range in start time from 7AM to 12PM. In addition to responding to this clubrunner invite, please also register separately at Life Skills Picnic Volunteer Signup
