Our September DIAD event will be on SATURDAY, September 19. We will be DARK on Thursday, September 17. We will meet at Montecito Montessori School at 715 E. Montecito Avenue, Phoenix. (7th Street just north of Indian School and across from the Veteran's Medical Center.) Use the parking lot to the south of the building. The gate should be open to walk to the playground area. We will be doing weeding/trimming/clean up of the Pocket Forest so wear a hat, bring your gardening gloves and any clippers or gardening tools you have that might prove helpful. Because principal Stefaney Sotomeyor wants to plan ahead, she is asking for a count of participants asap. Please respond by noon Wednesday, September 9. Thanks. We will leave dirty and sweaty, but with a sense of accomplishment. Thanks for accommodating a Saturday event. |
